I don't know about you but CES 2016, the show previously known as the consumer electronics show in Las Vegas, is to me like a kid waiting for Christmas. You get a hint of what will be out there but till you see it, you really don't know what is under the tree. But unlike Christmas, when you open the package, there might be nothing there as we do see a lot of new things from startups that just don't make it. This year, cloud funding has really taken off and the press releases are flooding the mail box. So, here is a sampling of what caught my eye.

This is the traveler's padlock that will blow away the competetion. About the size of a quarter, it is a lock that you don't need a key, no numbers to remember, and no code; as long as you have your smartphone with you. see the blurbs

It is also very difficult to aerate and serve wine at the right temperature, and according to world's best Sommelier, it can count up to 50% of the quality of the wine. Consumers have been able to conveniently charge their mobile phones away from a wall outlet for years.
